OPERATION TOOFAN

THE NARCO HUNT
“Operation Toofan – The Narco Hunt” is a special anti-narcotics mission implemented under the leadership of Kerala Police from June 2026 to prevent the use, sale, distribution and trafficking of narcotic substances. Along with identifying drug users, the mission focuses on tracing the sources of drugs and their distribution networks and taking legal action.

MAIN OBJECTIVES

🕸️ Identify Drug Distribution Networks

Identify the sources from which narcotic substances are obtained and those involved in their distribution, and take legal action against the networks.

⚖️ Strong Action Against Drug Mafias

Identify those involved in drug sales and trafficking, register cases and strengthen legal action against them.

🎓 Protect Students and Youth

Give special attention to preventing drug use among school and college students and strengthening awareness programmes.

🔍 Strengthen Inspection and Surveillance

Strengthen inspections and surveillance at bus stands, railway stations, educational institutions and other locations.

🤝 Ensure Public Participation

Encourage the public to inform the police about drug use, sale and distribution.

🌱 Support Rehabilitation

Provide necessary assistance and social support to help people affected by drug addiction overcome it.
