History of Grama Panchayat

Kodiyathoor Grama Panchayat is situated in Kozhikode District, Kozhikode Taluk, under Kunnamangalam Block. The Kodiyathoor Grama Panchayat, which falls within the jurisdiction of Kodiyathoor Village, has an area of 29.81 square kilometres. The boundaries of the Panchayat are as follows: Karassery and Koodaranji Grama Panchayats to the north; Koodaranji and Oorngattiri (Malappuram) Grama Panchayats to the east; Keezhupparamba and Vazhayoor Grama Panchayats of Malappuram District to the south; and Mukkam, Chathamangalam and Vazhayoor (Malappuram) Grama Panchayats to the west.
